OnePlus 9, is it worth buying or not?
The wait is over, OnePlus 9 is officially launched on 23rd March 2021 at 07:30 P.M. IST. It came up with its 2 extensive model named, OnePlus 9 & OnePlus 9 Pro. After all the rumors and predictions, finally we can confirm that it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The OnePlus flagship’s camera is powered by a Swedish brand Hasselblad.
Display: The display of OnePlus 9 has 120Hz Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide AMOLED display with a 6.55-inch screen size. It has a full HD resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. So it also supports sRGB color space and gamut.
Its Hypertouch reduces the latency of touch control, conceivably improving performance.
The software running in it is Oxygen OS, top of Android 11.
Performance: The all-new OnePlus 9 is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SOC. Built by 8 GB or 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128 GB or 256 GB storage. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 is an octa-core chipset assigned at 2.8 GHz and combined with Adreno 660 GPU. It is fast in loading apps and playing games without giving a hitch.
The OnePlus 9 is a new design by OnePlus vision.
The OnePlus 9 is 5G-capable phone.
Design: OnePlus 9 will be available for purchase in Arctic Sky, Astral Black, and Mist colour options. OnePlus 9 Pro, in contrast, will be available in Morning Mist, Pine Green, and Stellar Black shades.
The OnePlus 9 is a new design by OnePlus vision. Its three nature-infused colours evoke serene calmness. Its frame is plastic, not metal unlike from its previous collections.
The OnePlus 9 weighs 183 grams for the variant in India.
Camera: The OnePlus 9 has a triple rear camera setup. The 48MP main Sony IMX689 camera and 50MP ultra-wide Sony IMX 766 camera are what you’ll use most. The 2MP monochrome lens helps with low-light photographs.
On the front it got 16 MP Sony IMX471 sensor camera for selfies.
The latest feature came up in cameras department is because of OnePlus partnership with noted Swedish camera brand Hasselblad. The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro cameras are first result of this collaboration.
Moving ahead, OnePlus can capture up-to 8K at 30fps, slow-motion videos of up-to 720p at 480fps and 1080p at 240fps. It also has a low-light video option called Nightscape Video 2.0.
Battery: The OnePlus 9 has a 4500mAH battery, which is enough to get you through the day. OnePlus 9 real advantage depends on it charging speed also, it supports 65W wired charging and 15W Qi-wireless charging for fast results.
It came along with Warp charge 65T, which is OnePlus’s most advanced charging solution. It delivers the day’s power in under half an hour. The battery is actually split into two halves of 2250mAH cells each, that are charged parallelly by the charger. This wildly increases the speed of the charging.
