Check out our 2 minutes review before buying one of the best available smartphone in Indian market ; VIVO X60 Pro+
Vivo is giving competition to other flagships in the market by its X60 series. X60 Pro+ is a great competitor and made his place in best smartphone available in Indian market. Pro+ signifies that it is the Vivo’s top line model.
The Vivo X60 Pro+ is one of the slimmest flagship phones you can get in the market, which can easily be used with one hand. The Vivo X60 Pro+ continues the compact design form factor in the series, though the twist is the Vegan Leather back. Available in an emperor blue colour it adds a style factor to the phone. It has been observed that the material used is scratch resistant and no discolouring has been observed.
The 6.56 inches (16.65 cm) screen size with full HD+ AMOLED display, which continues with the dual curved edges as well. The display comes with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz and 240 Hz. Both resulting a better gaming experience. The phone also has feature calls Smart Switch, where the screen refresh rate is automatically adjusted according to user. The X60 Pro+ is certified with Hi-Res delivering HDR10+ video quality.
The display is fairly good in X60 Pro+. It’s not the best but still a really good one from which we didn’t have any complaints. It is a 6.56-inch AMOLED canvas with a single punch hole at the center-top for the single selfie camera. This is something one can expect from a flagship as well. The corner-cuts, a rather careful and intelligent decision here by Vivo. You do get a 120Hz refresh rate, which is increasingly becoming a standard in smartphones these days, and a decent 398ppi pixel density. It is also a bump over X50’s 90Hz panel.
The Vivo X60 Pro+ is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G which has ultimate flagship chip with 5nm process technology. The OS which has been used in Funtouch 11.1 based on Android v11. The pack contains 12GB RAM which allow it multitasking much easier. The smartphone is available with 256 internal memory which gives vast space to store your personal and official files. In virtual RAM, Vivo has allocated another 3GB RAM to their phone which users can also turn it off manually.
The camera on the Vivo X60 Pro+ comes with a lot of promise. It has a 50MO+48MP dual main camera, it is supported by 32MP and 8MP camera. The 48MP is the ultra-wide, while the 50MP is the wide-angle. The 32MP is the 50mm telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom support, while the 8MP camera has the periscope telephoto with 5X optical zoom. The selfie camera or front camera is of 32MP.
The Pro Mode in X60 Pro+ is easy to understand and pretty straightforward. The only downside here is that you can shoot RAW images in only 4:3 aspect ratio. Otherwise, tweaking the White Balance, Focus, ISO, Shutter and more was easy and the overall experience was actually good. It is also possible to shoot in ‘High resolution’ which is usually 50-megapixel.
Video recording is impressing enough to say that X60 Pro+ could be one of the best video recording Android phones till date. The improvement comes in the form of six-axis stabilization, which does a visibly better job in handling jerks and converting them into smooth transitions on the screen, as compared to what the high-end flagships usually shoot. However, you won’t experience it right away in the video mode.
The Vivo X60 Pro+ has a 4200 mAh battery, which should last easily for a day with heavy usage, more than a day with moderate usage. The screen settings at ‘Smart Switch’ though, if you switch to 120 Hz refresh rate, the battery will likely drain faster. The phone supports 55W fast charging, which is there in the box compatible with USB type-C cable. It could get your phone up from zero to 100 in just under an hour. Unfortunately, X60 Pro+ still sits behind few handsets when it comes to wireless charging, which can be a bummer for some, but definitely not enough to not consider it at all.

If you know about other flagship phones, you know that X60 Pro+ checks all the boxes to classify itself as a flagship. And that’s not all, it has some of the most innovative camera tech, including the 6-axis gimbal video recording feature, which we haven’t seen in any other handset yet. You get a fairly good design, top of the line processor, ample RAM and a good AMOLED display. And all these are enough to make it worthy. But it is still not as feature-rich as others in the range and still cuts corners in the form of no wireless charging, no IP rating and average battery performance. These are not deal breakers but surely something that you will be missing out on.
